True, but on the other hand, isn't the primary way people find macro miners by seeing them fill up a can of ore while not responding to convos and such?

If they're not jetting the ore and they're not moving, they're just AFKing.

Of course, if "macro hunters" are dumb enough to dumb anyone AFK a macro miner, its their problem.

I spent a good deal of time macro hunting and you can very easily tell who is and who isnt a macro. Macros follow a routine, players do not. Unfortunatley many macro hunters are just ore thieves that claim to be doing their "bit" for the community. I was a miner then turned macro hunter and i spent months stalking macros watching their patterns to enable me to flag a macro hauler with can flagging.

During these months i noticed many macro hunters are also pirates or worse total morons. Some even turn on the other macro hunters which is poor form within the macro hunting community. Macro hunters are pretty much a law unto themselves so if they wanna call you a macro and attack you they will do.

Some macro hunters have a degree of zealotry to them and are so convinced that eve is under siege from all angles from macros that anything said that doesnt conclude with total macro miner elimination is considered heretical and you are victimized as a macro sympathizer.

I understand your frustrations with your mining situation but its an unfortunate side affect of people who live and breathe macro hunting.

Joining the channel Macrointel could be useful to you to make some connections in the community also it ain't half bad to locate quiet systems with no macros:)

The guy above is generalizing i spent months hunting and never once killed a normal miner. Not once! And I have destroyed countless haulers and suicided barges. I would offer reimbursment to anyone i killed who had evemailed exclaming at me. This never occured. I would even talk in local as the macro pod warped back to station sometimes him taking 1/2 hr to realize his cycle was broken with the hauler sat there clueless.
